Anthony showed a developing power arm flashing easy gas @ 86-88 T90 MPH as a HS Lefty!  Anthony is athletic with a strong frame, he employs a drop & drive delivery with good tempo. His command currently lags behind his stuff, yet his arm action is fluid and there is definitely room for added velo w development and polish. He also showed a high spin, 2,600+ RPM, breaking ball w/ nice depth and a changeup with late fade and potential as a 3rd pitch. He is verbally committed to El Paso CC, NJCAA D1 in Texas.

Carlos is a plus runner who routinely clocks 6.6-6.8 sixty yard times. His overall quickness and light feet allow him to range well with sound defensive actions in the OF. He also clocked 85 MPH (Pocket Radar) throwing.  Offensively he switch hits with very similar stances and setup from each side. He employs a moderated toe tap from a high hand setup to spray line drives up the middle, and opposite field, well. Versatile Player with upside to maximize his speed and defend plus up in CF.

Christian ran a legit 6.9 and clocks 6.7/60 routinely. He is sound defensively with soft hands and plus lateral range while also showing controlled actions and a natural internal clock when fielding. His throws were accurate with solid arm strength (82-83 MPH). He also stands out offensively, as a switch hitter with a controlled, compact swing generated from a slightly open stance and a low hand set. He showed enough gap pop and hand speed (23 MPH MAX hand speed per DK Swingtracker) to project for some power as he gets stronger and finishes developing physically.

Alvin Commanded 4 pitches in our workout. FB was mostly straight with good life for current velo.  Secondary pitches are impressive.  Slider and CV are both high spin pitches and are similar in how they look out of his hand and he can change the shape and speed of each.  Changeup is advanced for a HS RHP with depth and late fade and rare command of it down in the zone.  Athletic strike thrower, stuff plays up from velocity given his command. Athletic and versatile, Michael can play a shorstop and 2b plus a capable OF.  His arm strength (82MPH) currently plays up better as an infielder and will play up as he continues to develop physically.  Offensively he has a compact swing from a low hand set and currently drives balls more to the pull side than oppo.  The bat, speed and ability to move around the infield and outfield will make Michael a player who can move around and play several positions well at the College Level.  Nothwisthanding, he still has development left which eventually can boost his power and arm and make him an impact player.

Michael’s ticket to play college baseball is his bat.  He used a tall stance with a high hand set to drive balls hard to his pullside and straightaway.  He could improve his Approach Angle (as measured with Diamond KInetics) to create more lift and use his strength to tap some more into his power.  He has below avg speed and arm which will limit his ceiling defensively and perhaps suit him more for 1B than the outfield.  Nonetheless, he could be a productive hitter collegiately if he keeps making strides in his approach.  3.6 GPA Student.

Airam showed nice hands and lateral range while running a 7.1/60 yards.  Offensively he employs a tall, almost straight stance with a high handset from which he recoils before extending his arms back and throwing the barrel at the ball. The swing will get more compact as he gains strength and instruction yet there is projection offensively as shown by his 57 MPH Max Barrel and 24 MPH Max Hand Speed as measured with Diamond Kinetics. He will need to improve his -3 approach angle to drive the ball more consistently and better his arm strength to play SS at higher levels but otherwise there is a LOT to like about 14-year old Airam moving forward, 3.5 GPA too.

Marlon’s future lies in the mound.  Only 14 years old, he topped out at 79MPH with a clean delivery with good tempo and timming, specially for his age.  He dropped his arm in some curveballs which is something common at this stage of his development yet he still showed ability to spin as shown by his CV Spin Rate.  He can also play 1B and has a sound, line drive swing offensively but is a below avg runner and athlete.  Marlon could develop into a nice, power arm as he transitions into a upper classman.  He is also a 3.0 GPA Student who is fully bilingual.

Reynaldo currently plays the field yet his future competitvely may be pitching.  His speed and range are below average, his arm plays better as he slings the ball from a 3/4 release point from the infield.  Offensively he hit some hard line drives but its hard to project him driving the ball.  We think his arm and previous pitching experience will make him more appealing from a mound than playing the field.
